Penuche Cookies

Ingredients:

    2 cups light brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/2 cup milk
    3/4 cup chopped nuts
    3 cups quick cooking oats
    1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
  1. Combine brown sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. 
  2. Boil 1 minute.
  3.  Pour over nuts, oats and vanilla. 
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper. 
  5. Cool.
